Healthy Quick Meals and Cooking with Beef


This week I made Easy Chili Rellenos. Meals can be easy/quick to make but still healthy because most healthy food are really quick to make. Healthy foods used in this recipe are cornmeal. What made it quick was that it was made with a crescent dinner roll and they are made of bread, obviously, which rises quickly. The result was very delicious and the recipe worked out very well.

Beef is healthy because it contributes to the Daily Value of many key nutrients , like protein, iron, zinc, and many B-vitamins. The leanest cut meats are whole muscle cuts.






This week I also made Beef  Stir Fry. We used top sirloin beef for this recipe, it's good for grilling and stir fry because it meets the "lean" meat requirements. It's important to tenderize or marinate meat because the food acid or enzyme helps soften or break down the meat fibers and connective tissue and adds flavor. The result of this recipe was absolutely amazing. I would recommend this recipe if you ever wanted to cook stir fry.

Ground beef is a wonderful cut to use for meatloaf.
